About Me

I have been a competitive RSOBHD Highland dancer since 2001, competing in numerous competitions the length and breadth of Scotland and Overseas. In 2013, I obtained my Membership with the BATD in Highland and have successfully added the BATD Scottish National membership qualification in 2021 and SDTA Highland membership in 2023.

I danced with the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Highland Ceilidh Dancers in 2011 and 2013. I have also performed with the team at the Ga-Pa Tattoo, Germany in 2012 and at the International Gathering of Scottish Highland Dance, Disneyland Paris in 2013.

In 2014, I travelled to Halifax, Nova Scotia to dance at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. I have also performed at the Glasgow Tattoo (2017), Estes Park International Tattoo, Colorado (2022), International Taptoe Belgium (2023) and Virginia International Tattoo (2024).

I make the products featured on the site in my spare time (sword bags are made in Scotland to Racheldances's design). Being involved in this hobby myself; my aim is to make all the products as affordable as possible.
