Can I arrange collection?
Collection may be arranged from North Ayrshire or Hamilton.  Please email racheldances@hotmail.co.uk to discuss

Keep checking this page or Like my Facebook page to keep up to date with future competition dates.  At the moment, I have no plans to compete before Christmas

Can you post overseas?
Yes, please email racheldances@hotmail.co.uk with your zip/post code and what you would like and I will get back to you with a shipping quote.  Please do not use the checkout, if you wish to order I will send you a separate invoice.

How long will my order take?
I aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of receipt of payment.
Practice Swords - The courier aims to deliver within 2-5 working days.  For Scottish Islands (HS & ZE) and remote postcodes, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.
Results Books, Championship Results Books and Sword Pencils - Royal Mail 2nd Class, up to 3 working days delivery.

Please note, I will be on holiday from 20th - 29th January 2018.  Any orders placed during this time will be dispatched on my return.

I've entered the wrong delivery address at the checkout, can I change it?
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering.  If you enter the wrong address when ordering, your package may be returned to us by the courier or Royal Mail in which case we will let you know straight away.  You will then be charged for resending the item(s).  Should you enter the wrong address and your order doesn't arrive either with yourself or with us, we are not obliged to re-send the order at our expense.  Please reduce the risk of this happening by entering your full and complete postal address.  If you make a mistake and enter the wrong details, please contact racheldances@hotmail.co.uk immediately.

What are the hilts made of?
The hilts are made from a flexible, but durable, plastic, reducing the risk of serious injury should the dancer stand on it and which simply twists back into shape.
 
What are the blades made of?
The blades are made from mild steel and painted silver.  They are approx 37.5" long.
 
What colours do the hilts come in?
See current availability on the Practice Swords tab.
 
Can I change the colour of my hilts?
Yes, new hilts can be purchased for £2 (+ £1 P&P).
Please note: hilts are not interchangeable.  Once hilts have been removed from blades the hilts cannot be used again.

What colours do the sword pencils come in?

How much is postage and packaging?
UK P&P costs for the Practice Swords
  • 1-2 sets: £10.00
  • 3-4 sets: £14.00
  • 5-6 sets: £20.00
  • 7-8 sets: £25.00
UK P&P costs for the Bags
(If these are purchased in the same order as practice swords then the P&P on the bags, up to the number of swords purchased, will be refunded to you prior to dispatch)
  • 1-2 bags: £6.00
  • 3-4 bags: £10.00
  • 5-6 bags: £12.00
  • 7-8 bags: £13.00
UK P&P costs for the Sword Pencils  
(If these are purchased in the same order as practice swords or sword bags then the P&P on the pencils will be refunded to you prior to dispatch)
  • 1-2 sets: £1.30
  • 3-4 sets: £1.50
  • 5-6 sets: £2.00
  • 7-8 sets: £2.20

There is no P&P (within UK) for the Results Book or Championship Results Book.

What is your returns policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please email racheldances@hotmail.co.uk with your invoice number and then simply return the item to us in its original condition within 14 days of receipt.
Returned items should be unused and must be returned in original packaging with any enclosed documentation.  I will issue a full refund on receipt, excluding the original delivery charge. 
Please note:
  1. Goods will only be accepted for return if they are dispatched within 14 days of delivery, unless I have notified you otherwise.
  2. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. 
  3. The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
